"Jack and the Beanstalk", presented as an English pantomime, is the the beloved fable of young man who trades his last worldly possession for three magic beans, embarking on a magical adventure where, if his wits preserve him in the face of a mighty giant, he has the opportunity to make his fortune! Auditions 09/26/10 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with lunch from 1-2 p.m. No advanced preparation is required, just show up. In English Pantomime the principle boy is often played by a female. In this production Jack will be played by a female 15-25. The Dame is often played by a male. For this show, Jack's mother will be played by a male 40-60. The cow will be played by 2 females 14-28. Performances are December 26th at 1:30pm and 7:30pm, and December 27th and December 28th at 7:30pm. |
